The Seminal and Brave New Films Announce a New Blog Fellowship on Afghanistan
We here at The Seminal, working closely with Brave New Films, are proud to announce a new blog fellowship program devoted to the dangers of military escalation in Afghanistan. And we’ve selected our fellowship recipient – Derrick Crowe, who’s work you may already be familiar with.
Derrick will be blogging on Afghanistan regularly (with great video from Brave New Films’ Rethink Afghanistan project) as well as creating online resources for those who are against escalation and making connections with a broad coalition to promote better Afghanistan policy.
And, from a movement standpoint, we’re proud that we can help subsidize a fellow blogger in their endeavors, even though I wish we had the resources to make the position more full time and permanent. Still, it’s important for bloggers to be recognized and compensated for their work, and we’re glad we can participate.
You can find Derrick’s writing here, at Rethink Afghanistan, at his personal blog Return Good for Evil, on Twitter at http://twitter.com/derrickcrowe, and on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/derrickcrowe.
