FDL Action: Public Option Whip Count – Day 40

It’s August, and that means members of Congress are back home in their districts. State bloggers, we need your help!

State blogs have had a huge impact in our whip count efforts. Representatives really, really care what the people in their back yards are saying. I can tell you that state blogs like Left Wing Cracker, FBIHOP, Rochester Turning and Dirigo Blue can have a bigger impact than the front page of the Washington Post on their members of Congress.

There are some great resources for state blogs, but the blog world turns over pretty fast. So we wanted to invite those who would like to partner with us on the whip count to let us know.

Fourteen down, 26 to go. Whip it!
