I love this photograph.

The red-orange of the boat hull against the gray-blue-green of the water is so beautiful, isn’t it? Just gorgeous.

It pulls me in like a good story does, making me want to know more. See more.

Hear the water slap against the wooden hull, and feel the breeze making those ripples on the surface of the water.

Is there a town nearby?  Or is this a place of stillness and solitude?

I’d love some back story on why the boat is there.  And then find out what happens next.

We had so much fun in yesterday’s Pull Up A Chair thread talking about favorite books and travel, that I thought we might like to continue that a bit today as well.  A bit of escape perhaps.

What’s on your mind this morning? Do tell…
