Jesus Camp

A nation of anxious god-botherers can breathe a sigh of relief now that the Foreign Muslim President has officially chosen a House of Worship where he will use his "secret brain voice" to talk to Annoying Sky Busybody:

For the past five months, White House aides and friends of the Obamas have been quietly visiting local churches and vetting the sermons of prospective first ministers in a search for a new — and uncontroversial — church home. Obama has even sampled a few himself, attending services at 19th Street Baptist on the weekend before his inauguration and celebrating Easter at St. John’s Episcopal Church.

Now, in an unexpected move, Obama has told White House aides that instead of joining a congregation in Washington, D.C., he will follow in George W. Bush’s footsteps and make his primary place of worship Evergreen Chapel, the nondenominational church at Camp David.

This is obviously some kind of scam (unlike, say, "religion") claims Newsbuster’s otherwise unemployable Tim Graham:

Obama clearly figured it would be hard for Republicans to attack him for making the same spiritual choice as President Bush. Republicans haven’t made a big deal out of their presidents holding a church membership, although Democrats would snap a bit at Ronald Reagan not going out to church when the Moral Majority was in vogue.

The difference here is the same one the Amy Sullivans have always tried to obscure, regardless of the noxious Wright association: evangelicals and conservative Catholics can easily see that Obama’s social liberalism on sexual issues, everything from abortion to transgender rights, is dramatically at odds with traditional religious values.

So, obviously, Obama is taking advantage of Matthew 6:6 so that he can  pray in private to his Muslim Mudgod  for the destruction of America. Also for the Redskins to go at least 8-8.

I know. People of faith are soooo adorable…
