To Cantwell and Murray:
This is the fourth message I have sent to your office.I would like to know where you stand on Don't Ask, Don't Tell. I have wanted to join the Air Force my whole life, without being forced to lie. What are you doing to repeal this odious law?
To the President:
I am a gay American. As a gay American I am treated as a second-class citizen. You promised much on your campaign trail- equality and respect paramount in my regard. At this time I feel neither from you. I feel as if you are treating my community like we will infect you and you'd rather not get dirty. But we campaigned and raised funds for you with the understanding you would be different. Were we wrong? Just being led around by our wallets? Or will you finally speak up for a community who supported you so fiercely?
