Jon Voight: Obama is a “False Prophet”

Jon Voight’s speech at last night NRCC-NRSC dinner was a carefully crafted jingoist clap-a-thon, larded with dominionist, eschatological messages to stir up the theocratic nutbags, while hitting the usual right wing punching bags: the media, Hollywood, Joe Biden, the stimulus package, Congressional Democrats.

Other highlights:

Obama portrayed himself as a moderate, but is really radical (side note: Didn’t Bush portray himself as being concerned about the moral fiber of America and rising health costs, and then didn’t do diddly?)

Voight implies Obama won the election illegally (side note: Unlike Florida in 2000?)

Voight’s biggest concern is Israel, a huge  focus of the Armageddonists, and he gave special thanks to Hannity, Limbaugh, O’Reilly, Ingram, Levin, Bennett, Beck, Hewett, Prager, Medvid, Steele, Miller, Malkin, Rove, etc ad nauseum.

Lets give thanks to them for not giving up and staying the course to bring an end to this false prophet Obama.

"False prophet"  is dominionist, Armaggedonist code for the Final Boss of the End Times.

Gross.

On the super spy show "24," Voight played military-industrialist Jonas Hodges, the

Anti-Jack Bauer… responding to the investigations into his unsavory methods of protecting the United States by attacking it as opposed to protecting it.

The lines between fact and fiction are blurring with Voight. Didn’t the Right  tell us during the Bush years that if we didn’t support the President we were supporting our enemies?

And if Voight’s comments had been made by a liberal entertainer during a Republican presidency, wouldn’t they be boycotted  –Dixie Chicks, anyone?
