Chef’s Collaborative, A National Network of Chefs Committed to Sourcing and Using Local Ingredients
Karen Herzog’s food blog at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel referenced Chef’s Collaborative. I had never heard of them, just thought I’d pass it along to all the culinary artists at FDL from whom I learn so much.
Web site has a restaurant locator of members. I cannot say if this is legitimate or a marketing gimmick.
A national network of chefs committed to sourcing and using local ingredients celebrated Earth Day by sending a letter to President and Mrs. Obama, commending their dedication to sustainable food issues, and encouraging them to use the White House kitchen as an example for the rest of the nation.[…]
