Richard Blair of All Spin Zone has had it with the AIG leeches feeding off of the American taxpayer, and is hitting the road to its headquaters. He emailed me (and other bloggers last night):

I’m pretty much living day-to-day at this point, having been laid off in late 2008. So, the AIG bonus thing has really, really, gotten under my skin.  The fortunate thing is that I’m free to travel – at least on the cheap.

Here’s how I’m going to spend my St. Patrick’s day:

Tuesday morning, 3/17, I’m going to hop the Chinatown bus in Philly and travel up to NYC. My destination is somewhere around 70 Pine St., which is the location of the AIG building in the financial district of NYC. I expect to be there well before lunchtime.

I don’t know exactly where I’ll be located (wherever security or the NYPD won’t run me off, hopefully), but if you’re in NYC or feel moved to join me, stop by and say “HI” to the man in a black leather jacket and poster board that says “Give it back, Mr. Liddy”.

Maybe I’m tilting at windmills, but someone’s gotta start it. I might as well be the guy.

Richard plans to report on his encounters on ASZ, so make sure to click over and check out what happens.
