We are offering the position to Mr. Bush in all sincerity. We think it would be a great fit for him as he settles back into life in Dallas. 

Along with discounts and plenty of parking for his security detail, the gig comes with plenty of perks. According to the offer letter published in the Dallas Morning News, some of the benefits of the position include:

one with the citizens of Dallas

• Friendly, knowledgeable co-workers eager to discuss any projects you may be house or the

We think you’ll find working with us much less stressful than your last job. (And we’re pretty sure Mrs. Bush wouldn’t mind getting you out of the house for a few hours, too.)

Lest you think such a job in unbecoming to the ex-POTUS, keep in mind that Dubya has demonstrated he’s darn handy clearing brush with a chainsaw. And the job of greeter at Elliot’s is an important one. As the Dallas Fort Worth’s local NBC affiliate points out, they’re:

often the perfect sage to ask, "Where can I find a plunger?" as you walk into the store in pants wet up to your ankles.

And Bush certainly has had that experience up to his to his ankles–and deeper.
