candy_land.thumbnail.jpgUniversal Pictures has signed a deal to produce a live action movie based on the the children’s board game Candy Land.  Acquisition of the rights to Candy Land was part of a package with Hasbro Toys that included G.I. Joe (G.I Joe: Rise of Cobra, out this summer).

Executives did not comment on whether the Candy Land script would use colored squares instead of words.
