A Supreme Court judge in Australia has ruled that an internet cartoon in which look-a-like child characters from The Simpsons engage in sexual acts is child pornography.

In a landmark finding, Justice Michael Adams upheld a decision convicting a man of possessing child pornography after the cartoons, depicting characters modelled on Bart, Lisa and Maggie engaging in sex acts, were found on his computer.

The main issue of the case was whether a fictional cartoon character could “depict” a “person” under law.

The magistrate had said that had the images involved real children, McEwan would have been jailed.

However, he was fined A$3000 and required to enter into a two-year good behaviour bond in respect to each of the charges.

I’ve got some of those Simpsons porno-toons, plus some Jetsons, Scooby-Doo, and Flintstones as well.  Now, certainly, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie are all “children”, and, logically, Betty Rubble and Wilma Flintstone are “adults”, but what of Judy Jetson and Daphne – are they “barely legal” teens or “jailbait”?  And if Dino or Scooby-Doo are involved, do I now possess child bestiality porn?

Seeing as I must be some sort of Aussie pervert now, because I have funny drawings of Lisa Simpson in an animated GIF strapped down in a submissive BDSM position, I’ve decided to begin my career as a child porn cartoonist.  You can enjoy my disgusting, filthy, reprehensible Australian cartoon child porn after the jump.

I know, Jane is awfully busty to be a child.  The cartoons of Lisa Simpson that the Australian judge ruled to be porn didn’t have developed breasts (or five fingers, realistic skin tone, or human-looking heads) .  But that brings me back to Judy Jetson and Daphne (and most especially Velma!) – if you draw a cartoon of a girl who is supposed to be sixteen (like Judy Jetson), but the body you draw has gone through puberty and looks like Jessica Rabbit, is it Australian child porn?
