Found ’em!

Sarah Palin is hoping God will open the door for her and help her to find the way to the White House,  but it also sounds like she could use some Divine Intervention in her closets. Here’s what Gov GILF told Greta van Sustren on Fox about God:

…You know, I have — faith is a very big part of my life. And putting my life in my creator’s hands — this is what I always do. I’m like, OK, God, if there is an open door for me somewhere, this is what I always pray, I’m like, don’t let me miss the open door. Show me where the open door is.

Even if it’s cracked up a little bit, maybe I’ll plow right on through that and maybe prematurely plow through it, but don’t let me miss an open door…And if there is an open door in ’12 or four years later, and if it is something that is going to be good for my family, for my state, for my nation, an opportunity for me, then I’ll plow through that door."

Which sounds a lot like what her father Chuck Heath said Sarah had been trying to do Saturday:

She was just frantically … trying to sort stuff out. That’s the problem, you know, the kids lose underwear, and everything has to be accounted for.

Sarah also had this to say about the sorry state of her wardrobe:

There is no clothes audit except for when the belly of the plane got all cleaned out. All the piles of clothes they had in there, they wanted me at my house to go through it and box things up and send it. We should have done that when we were in Arizona, because we had half a day. Yeah, I was doing that last night…

But I heard, too, on the news, there were attorneys coming out to do such a thing [audit the clothes]. There are no attorneys coming up. There’s no need for it or anything else. But that’ll be nice to have that chapter closed because, as I said from day one, I have never asked for anything and I’m not keeping anything, either.

Aw shucks, they wanted Sarah to sort through the clothes and make sure she was sending back the right things. Sarah, just keep praying God will open the doors and the drawers for you to plow through so all those missing items can be found, because

RNC lawyers have been discussing with Palin whether what’s left of the clothing and accessories purchased for her on the campaign trail will go to charity, back to stores or be paid for by Palin, a McCain-Palin campaign official said Friday, speaking on condition of anonymity because the campaign hadn’t authorized comment.
