According to the results of Initiative 1 in Arkansas, White people disproportionately supported a ban on adoptions of children by LGBT people.  Exit polls show that 58% of White peopel supported the ban, in contrast to 54% of Black people.  In my opinion, this is due to the scourge of homophobic White country music, conservative White churches, and a history of homophobia in White communities, despite their struggles to establish themselves and secure greater rights than other people.
