Palin Warns Of Far-Left Take Over Of Federal Government, Outs Herself As A Klingon
Ladies and gentlemen, the last pathetic gasps of the McPalin campaign from the Republican Party’s new leader:
“We must win,” she said, “because Ohio, the far-left wing of the Democrat Party, not mainstream Democrat ideology, the values, the planks in the platform of the Democrat Party. It’s the far-left wing of the party is getting ready to take over the entire federal government.”
Palin was probably busy banning books or getting prayed over or something, but those of us who actually follow national politics remember that, in 2006, Republicans tried in vain to keep control of the House and Senate by warning of a "far-left take over" by Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid.
How’d that turn out for ya, Sarah?
And obviously, it goes without saying that Palin a) wouldn’t be able to name a single issue on which Obama-Biden is "far-left" — and b) wouldn’t be able to identify a single "plank" in the "maintream Democrat [sic] ideology" if it bit her in the ass.
This is tired, stale, weak-ass messaging folks. This is what defeat sounds like.
But this is classic:
"…there must be something about San Francisco and he because it’s like I heard on Fox News today, it’s like a truth serum where when he’s there, he seems to be more candid, and remember it was there that he talked about, there you go, the bitter clingers, the cling-ons, all of us, I guess, you know holding on to religion and guns and, um, so something about he being there in San Francisco.”
It all makes perfect sense now.
