It’s nice to see this couple share their story about going to vote for the first time. That they are an interracial couple only adds to the vision of the New South that exists here in NC.

Another NC moment – James Taylor held a concert here, this one in Chapel Hill, for Obama on October 20. The singer/songwriter grew up in Carrboro, NC. He makes remarks about making change in this election, engaging the crowd to sing “Go Obama Go” in his famously laid back Carolina way.
