Christina Applegate among Sunday’s stars for Obama

Stars! Bands! Free tee shirts! Voter registration!

Christina Applegate, Patti LaBelle, comedian Chelsea Handler, LA Clipper Baron Davis, and actress Jean Smart will be joining the band Heart for a voter registration rally on the UCLA campus Sunday, October 12th from 1 to 3 pm.

The free event at Pauly Pavillion includes speechs from Los Angeles women ranging from entertainers, musicians, actors, comedians, health care providers, lawyers, and political activists.

LaBelle and Heart, whose song "Barracuda" was famously misappropriated by the McCain campaign and played as part of Gov GILF’s appearences, will be performing.

Remember ladies, California’s voter registration deadline is October 20th!

Sunday’s Every Woman for Obama rally serves as a call to action for women to register and cast their vote for Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama on November 4th and to encourage at least 10 friends to vote for Obama. The first 500 rally attendees will receive free t-shirts and campaign buttons.

Boys are welcome, too!
