I was just surfing and saw this on rawstory

I am no fan of tasers to begin with,  But this just truly makes me cringe,

Doctors believe 16-year-old Mace Hutchinson broke his back and heel after falling, as his injuries are consistent with such a fall. The boy’s family does not understand why police would have tasered the the teen 19 times after he was so seriously injured.

 

 19 times? 19 times? I don’t get it, I don’t see the reason for 1 time much less 19.

 More twisted reasons for tasing after the jump  Now I thought in Fundie Land they could find a way of making 4 + 4 = 69 and get the sheeple to believe it, but this,

“He refused to comply with the officers and so the officers had to deploy their Tasers in order to subdue him. He is making incoherent statements; he’s also making statements such as, ‘Shoot cops, kill cops,’ things like that. So there was cause for concern to the officers.”

 A 16 year old kid lying on the ground after falling off of a bridge and landing on the pavement needs to be subdued by the use of a taser 19 times. Give me a break.  So what if the 16 year old was lying on the ground incoherently saying to ‘shoot cops, kill cops’ I can almost agree with what he was saying, because no one called an ambulance until after he was tased 19 times.

 And the worst part is, the 16 year old needed surgery, but had to be delayed for two days.  Two day, why?

The teen’s father said that the use of the taser caused Mace to develop an elevated white blood cell count, leading to a fever that delayed the young man’s otherwise immediate surgery by two days.

  Sickening and sad, very sad.  And I am supposed to teach my children that the police are the good guys?
