I met Spike Mendelsohn from Top Chef a couple months ago at a food thing in New York that a friend did the P.R. for. Real nice guy, super-professional. Served me an excellent spicy beef salad. I haven’t been to his new Capitol Hill restaurant yet, but rest assured it’s only a matter of days before I do, so you don’t need to IM and ask me if I’ve been and how’s the food and such.
