Vitter may be ordered to testify in DC Madam trial

Why we could hear details from the Republican Sexual Hypocrite senator from Louisiana. I doubt David Vitter was dropping $4K like Eliot Spitzer for services rendered, but it would be interesting to hear this piggie squeal. He’s fighting a subpoena. (ABC’s Blotter):

A U.S. senator who admitted to using the “D.C. Madam” escort service is fighting a subpoena to testify at her trial — down to the opening gavel this morning.

Defending herself against a sortie of felony charges stemming from running an alleged interstate prostitution business, Deborah Jeane Palfrey has subpoenaed Sen. David Vitter, R-La., to testify.

…At a last-minute hearing Friday, U.S. District Court Judge James Robertson appeared to reject an argument by a lawyer who has represented Vitter that his client’s testimony would be “totally inappropriate,” reported Legal Times. The judge declined to nullify the subpoena.

Let’s see, how would his testimony be inappropriate? He could help out Ms. Palfrey by asserting that he only received “fantasy services” from the firm — unless, of course, that isn’t true. If compelled, his attorney said the pious Vitter will take the Fifth.

WAFB captured Vitter’s driving-impaired flunkie, who, in their attempt to help the Republican Sexual Hypocrite make a quick getaway from the media at a town hall today, drove over a sign. Check out the video.

Hat tip, C&L.
