Try the Fizzy Feith:
Grey Goose, bitters, and the tears of Iraqi war orphans…

As the good folks at Sadly, No! noted, the Power Line guys got to play fan-boy with some of their war criminal heroes at the Four Seasons last night while giving an award to Norm-Pod for his book: More People I Want Other People To Kill. As the New York Times points out:

Power Line is a blog that drew national attention for helping to hasten the departure of Dan Rather from “CBS Evening News” in the debate over the authenticity of documents over President Bush’s service in the Texas Air National Guard. The award, for Mr. Podhoretz’s “World War IV: The Long Struggle Against Islamofascism,” was $25,000 — more money than the National Book Critics Circle Award or the Pulitzer, the bloggers noted.

Mr. Podhoretz, a former editor-in-chief of Commentary and a founder of the neoconservative movement, said he would donate the money to Soldier’s Angels, a nonprofit group that helps members of the military. (Where does a blog get money like that, City Room wondered. The answer: From an anonymous donor, where else?)

Which would be very gracious of Pod Sr. (in light of the fact that Soldier’s Angels exists specifically to administer to the needs of the very people who are the victims of his murderous impulses) except for the fact that the money had already been promised to Soldier’s Angels back when the awards were announced.

Nonetheless it looks like a good time was had by all, regardless of that little incident at the end of the evening when Paul Wolfowitz attempted to steal the tip so he could give the money to his girlfriend.

Well, Valentines Day is tomorrow….
