In case you missed it over the weekend, Greenwald took down John King, the CNN journalist personality, for his recent nausea-inducing "interview" with St. McCain. King didn’t appreciate Glenn’s criticism and has responded in a completely unhinged e-mail, which begins:

I don’t read biased uninformed drivel so I’m a little late to the game.

Take that, Glenn, you uninformed drivel-peddler! Because if Greenwald has any reputation at all it’s for being uninformed.

You really need to read the whole thing, but I love this part:

The portion you cited was aired by one of our programs — so by all means it is fair game for whatever "analysis" you care to apply to it using your right of free speech and your lack of any journalistic standards or fact checking or just plain basic curiosity.

So in other words, King’s upset with Greenwald because only the tongue bath portion of his hard-hitting, probing, take-no-prisoners interview with St. McCain got aired. Makes you wonder about the content of the stuff that didn’t get on the air, doesn’t it?

Memo to King: your beef should be with CNN, not Greenwald. In the meantime, instead of being St. McCain’s lap dog, why not start practicing some, you know, actual journalism?
