Sunday Talking Head Thread

Who is on the Sunday news shows?  Here’s your list for today.  Just two weeks out from the Iowa caucuses, it’s a lot of presidential hopefuls, the reporters who are covering them in the field…and not a lot around the edges other than some intel/FISA/torture issues, steroids in baseball and a few other bits and pieces.

The game of the day will be guessing who handed Kit Bond his talking points of the day.  My guess?  Someone in David Addington’s circle of friends.

C-Span’s Washington Journal:  7am – Scott Peterson, C-SPAN , Marketing Representative; 7:30am – Felice Belman, Concord Monitor, Executive Editor; 8:30am – Carolyn Washburn, Des Moines Register, Vice President & Editor; 9:30am – Rebecca Stewart, C-SPAN , Marketing Representative.

CNN Late Edition: Former Sen. John Edwards (D) and Sen. Joe Biden (D-DE); Pat Buchanan, author "Day of Reckoning;" Sen. Evan Bayh (D-IN) Armed Services Committee, Intelligence Committee, and Sen. Kit Bond (R-MO) Vice Chairman, Intelligence Committee.

ABC’s This Week: Former Sen. John Edwards (D); Alan Greenspan; Roundtable with Donna Brazile, Claire Shipman, Jay Carney and George Will; and "Voices" with Brad Pitt who is launching a new initiative called "Make it Right." The goal is to build 150 affordable and eco-friendly homes for families who lost everything in Hurricane Katrina.

NBC’s Meet The Press: Mitt Romney (R).

CBS’ Face The Nation: Former Sens. Fred Thompson (R) and John Edwards (D).

Fox News Sunday: Steroid abuse in Major League Baseball with former Sen. George Mitchell; Rep. Jane Harman (D-CA) House Intelligence Committee and Rep. Pete Hoekstra (R-MI) ranking member House Intelligence Committee.

The Chris Matthews Show: Katty Kay, BBC Washington Correspondent; Dan Rather HD Net Global Correspondent; Andrew Sullivan The Atlantic Senior Editor; Norah O’Donnell MSNBC.

Sixty Minutes: New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez, "I’ve never used steroids;" Military Soft On Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell?; A Visit To The "Garden Of Eden"; Gorillas: Kings Of Congo.

Today’s photo is another gorgeous shot from Julie’s Magic Light Show.  It’s a pine grosbeak — not one we get to see very often here, and the color of the bird and the berries in this shot was too gorgeous to pass up.  What is catching your eye on the blogs or in the news this morning?

(Huge thank you to Elliott for compiling a lot of the schedule and sending it to me.  Much appreciated!)
