Vietnam, Iraq I, Iraq II, and the History Channel
We lost in Vietnam.
We won so cleanly in Iraq I; all those nifty bombs raining on buildings and a mere 148 U.S. deaths.
Replays of those laser bombs hitting their targets were popular on the History Channel for years, but hey, hey, hey, where are those replays now?
Iraq II is better named Vietnam II, since it's another loss and another quagmire and it's run by men who ran from Vietnam I.
I wonder how much of the hunger for Iran I is the need for perceived victory, for one is only as good or bad as their last victory or loss and if Bush could just bomb Iran, then the History Channel could show those images and our precious, collective American ego could be half-inflated again.
