Far from the madding crowd

I spent the better part of the weekend getting caught up on a few of the movies that we own but had yet to watch (Babel, Les Triplettes de Belleville, and The Station Agent) as well as going to see Michael Clayton. Additionally I got caught up on a little reading of the dead tree kind (go read this and this), so I’m not exactly up to speed on what lunacy lurks in the corners of the internets, and quite frankly, I ‘m not interested. Since all the movies were very good, why harsh a perfectly good artbuzz with teh stupid?

By way of recommendation, the erudite and hotastic mrs tbogg suggests that you try Mr. Pip , An Arsonist’s Guide to Writers’ Homes in New England: A Novel, and she would suggest Bridge of Sighs except for the fact that it needs about one hundred pages lopped off. Liked it, didn’t love it.

As always, your mileage may vary, void where prohibited by law, and erections lasting over four hours should be commended for their stick-to-it-tiveness…
