housefinches.jpgHere’s the Sunday Talking Head line-up.  Read it and see what you think:

C-Span’s Washington Journal:  7:45am – Ari Berman, The Nation, Contributing Writer; 8:30am – Newspaper Articles & Viewer Calls; 9am – Victor Cha, National Security Council, Fmr. Director for Asian Affairs (2004-07); 9:30am – Robert Reid, Associated Press, Acting Baghdad Bureau Chief.

Joe Biden (D-DE) returns from Iraq to share his views. Plus, a political roundtable with David Brody & John Harwood.  [CHS notes:  I don’t even need to say it, do I?  Jeebus…]

This Week (ABC):  Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) and Sen. John Kerry (D-MA); Sam Donaldson, Cokie Roberts and George Will; and Alan Alda.

Face the Nation (CBS):  Sen. Edward Kennedy (D-MA) and Gen. Brent Scowcroft (Ret.), former National Security Advisor.

CNN’s Late Edition:  Gen. George Joulwan, U.S. Army (Ret.); Fmr. NATO Supreme Commander; Mowaffak al-Rubaie, Iraqi National Security Adviser; Sen. Arlen Specter, R-Pennsylvania; Ranking Member, Judiciary Cmte.; Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-California; Foreign Relations Cmte.; Mike Huckabee, Republican Presidential Candidate; Fmr. Arkansas Gov.; Frances Townsend, White House Homeland Security Adviser; Ed Henry, CNN White House Correspondent; Jessica Yellin, CNN Congressional Correspondent; Lisa Goddard, CNN Radio Congressional Correspondent.

Fox News Sunday:  Fran Townsend.

Is it me, or is little Franny Townsend putting her face out publicly a helluva lot more than usual today?  Anyone sensing a PR initiative that may have more to do with an AG nomination sneak-in than it does a reassuring face on Homeland Security?  (What?!?  Chertoff doesn’t scream “reassuring” to you, either?)

Today’s project:  refilling the birdfeeders before there is an enormous, squawking mutiny.  I think the cardinal family is looking angry this morning.  Today’s photo of some chattering house finches seemed awfully appropriate for the talking head line-up today.  Thanks to Julie’s Magic Light Show for the great pix.
