Open letter to Mayor Naugle of Ft. Lauderdale
Dear Mayor Naugle,
I am writing to apologize for my previous letter to you regarding the installation of automated bathrooms in public areas in Ft. Lauderdale. I used to believe that sex in public restrooms was a rare phenomenon, and that your campaign was a bigotry-based waste of taxpayer dollars. However, in light of recent events, I have reconsidered my beliefs. It seems that there is, in fact, a need for robotic potties in Red states across the country, to prevent the misuse of these facilities by our elected officials.
May I also suggest that you contact Chris Coleman, mayor of St. Paul, MN, and that the two of you arrange to purchase computerized crappers in bulk. The Republican National Convention will be held in his city next year, and he'll want to be ready. With your stalwart support, I bet he'll bag a few Senators, several Representatives, and even a Governor or two!
