The reliable conservative viewpoint on ABC’s The View is represented by Elisabeth Hasselbeck. In a discussion about marriage equality and limitations of civil unions, however, she makes the case for who is really destroying the institution of marriage.

Thumbs up on her framing of the issue — why can’t the top tier Democratic presidential candidates  and other pols see it this simply? Gays and lesbians want to marry. Separate is not equal.
