Working Overtime

A little BTO for the overtime work…

Bob Geiger has a good thumbnail summary of the Senate proceedings thus far this evening.

C&L picked up an interesting tidbit about Mitch McConnell’s wife — Elaine Chao, US Secretary of Labor — from the AFL-CIO blog. If you are an American worker, she thinks you stink. Literally.

ThinkProgress will be doing some liveblogging throughout the evening of proceedings. And TPM will be doing summaries as well, as the facts warrant them.

— Did you know that Americans consume 16.5 billion quarts of popped popcorn per year? (I’m currently helping the cause.)

TPM’s Election Central has an update on parliamentary procedure.

What’s catching your eye in the news and on the blogs this evening? Whatcha watching on the telly?
