When Fundies Fail Fundies

Seattle’s Throbbing Homobigot and presumptive Man of God, Ken Hutcherson, is steamed.  And this time it’s not flaming faggots raising the temperature, but Fundie Brethren. (emphasis mine)

[S]upporters of a measure to repeal the state’s 2006 law giving civil-rights protections to gay people [have] shelved their measure, said Pastor Ken Hutcherson of the Antioch Bible Church in Kirkland.

Hutcherson said he set aside I-963 to help another Christian group run a measure that would have targeted the state’s new domestic-partnership registry, which grants some health and end-of-life rights to same-sex couples. But the other Christian group never followed through, he said.

Hutcherson said he is angry at what happened and intends to announce plans for a new effort aimed at forcing a debate on gay marriage in Washington state.

“I am going to do something that deals with the main issue,” Hutcherson said, and he added that he hopes to bring political leadership for Christians that he thinks has been missing the past two years.

What is it with these godly haters?  They’re so busy locking ambitious horns that they neglect their duty to hate in the name of Christ.  St Peter, dope slap in pew seven!  The Brother in Christ that Delusions of Grandeur Hutcherson is happy to lay all blame on is Joe Fuiten, a thumper at Cedar Park Assembly of God.  Joe is known for all sort of loving, Chirst-like activities.  Like for example, turning elders out of housing.  Just what sort of mountain are these gents vying to be king of?

I would like to remind Ken & Joe of the parable: “When you lie (in either sense of the word) with dogs, you get up with fleas.”  Problem is, I can’t figure out which is the dog and which is the flea.
