Please tell me why retired professor Kathy Ensz couldn’t find a more meaningful way to let homophobic, useless Rep. Marilyn Musgrave (R-CO-4) know she’s not doing her job in Congress? Yeah, this is probably a legitimate form of political speech, but it sure is nasty — no one needs to escalate sh*t wars. (Greeley Tribune):

A Weld County jury found Ensz not guilty Wednesday of criminal use of a noxious substance, a charge that stemmed from her deposit of dog excrement at the congressional office of U.S. Rep. Marilyn Musgrave last May 31.

“When you get prosecuted like this, when the powers that be come after you for something like this, it’s very intimidating,” she said after the verdict. Now, she and her attorneys are mulling a civil suit against the Weld District Attorney’s Office or Musgrave, or both.

…Chief Deputy District Attorney Christian Schulte told the jury they might joke about the case with their friends. He even had some suggestions.

“Here’s some starters: ‘One side or another put on a crappy case,'” he said. “Or, ‘I can’t believe all the (blank) that was coming out of that witness’ mouth.'”

Hopefully Colorado won’t have Marilyn around much longer; pro-equality Angie Paccione, who only lost by a couple of points is gearing up for a rematch.
