Your Department of Homeland Security at work:

MONTGOMERY, Ala. — The Alabama Department of Homeland Security has taken down a Web site it operated that included gay rights and anti-war organizations in a list of groups that could include terrorists.

The Web site identified different types of terrorists, and included a list of groups it believed could spawn terrorists. The list also included environmentalists, animal rights advocates and abortion opponents.

I'm really happy that the Democrats have taken back control of Congress because Republicans have been giving an approving nod to these kinds of shenanigans and sweeping them under the rug for years.  It's comforting to know that the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Government Affairs will no doubt be holding appropriate oversight hearings on this any day now and let it be known that it's not okay for government agencies to be doing this kind of shit.
