Q of the day – your first computer

Everyone’s been blogging about the brilliant faux Obama anti-Hillary ad based on Apple’s 1984 Super Bowl commercial.

What I found more interesting is this gem, the introduction of the Apple Macintosh in 1984. Check out how young Steve Jobs looks, and how primitive the Mac is.

What was your first computer (work or home)? My first was a IBM XT with a speedy Intel 8088 processor.

I later graduated to a Mac SE, a Mac IIx, and I held on dearly to a Mac LCIII until it died. I’ve lost count of the various Mac and Win boxes after that. I’m using an HP dv1000 laptop these days.
