FDA Chief Points Out The Downside Of Regulating Tobacco

Truly, logic of the most head-spinning type

FDA chief: Don’t regulate tobacco

“Government regulation of tobacco could backfire by inadvertently forcing smokers to light up more and inhale more deeply, the head of the Food and Drug Administration said Tuesday.”

By this logic, seat-belts are a bad thing as they could encourage drivers to speed faster than the posted limit

Actually, it won’t be the regulations that “force” smokers to “light up more and inhale more deeply”, that’s a decision the smoker makes all on their own

Is there ANYONE in this Administration who ever makes ANY sense whatsoever?
