Porno Pete whines about LOGO channel expansion

At least you’d think could get his facts straight. I am all too aware that LOGO is available in a lot of cities, but not here in the Triangle, despite calling Time Warner Cable multiple times (we don’t have Bravo either). For god’s sake, they have LOGO in the bible belt city of Birmingham, Alabama!

LaBarbera thinks it’s only broadcasting in NYC. You mean he can’t get the channel in Illinois so that he can monitor the tame, edited homo programming? (AgapePress):

A renewal deal between Time Warner Cable and Viacom will include expansion of cities showing Viacom’s LOGO, a network targeting homosexual viewers. The president of an organization that monitors the influence of homosexuality in the culture, and the head of another that observes cultural trends in media, both say it is really just a natural development of what is already being done on other cable and satellite channels.

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth says it is significant — but not surprising — that the all-homosexual channel LOGO is expanding outside of New York City, its only availability location on cable thus far. “We do have to face facts,” the culture analyst acknowledges. “And that is [that] a lot of the other networks are so liberal that they’re practically de facto homosexual promotion channels anyway.” LaBarbera says liberal pop culture and media see themselves as the protectors of the homosexual movement and are doing their best to promote it.

Morality in Media president Robert Peters agrees with that observation. “To my knowledge, LOGO isn’t a channel that is paid for and produced by the gay community,” says Peters. “It’s a channel, to my knowledge, that’s paid for and produced by the mainstream television industry.” Both men also say the ultimate goal is to break down societal norms in favor of new definitions of family and morality — goals they say could change the face of what America may look like in the decades to come.
