CNN's E-lection Blog Party site is up
I happened to stumble upon CNN’s site for E-lection Blog Party just a bit ago; it must have gone up today. It has the full list of participating bloggers.
On Election Night, Tuesday, November 7th, CNN is hosting prominent bloggers from across the country – and across the ideological spectrum – to watch returns, blog alongside one another, and share political insights during its live election coverage. Parts of the event will be streamed live on CNN Pipeline and broadcasted live on CNN’s Election Night coverage starting at 7 PM E.T. Blogging begins at 4 PM and may continue into the early morning hours.
Oh well, should I be nervous?
I look forward to getting insights from you out there, Blenders — hang around, chat and comment and post links and updates to races you’re watching throughout the evening. Right now I have queued up threads for each state with a marriage amendment, as well as threads for each poll closing time across the country:
7 PM: Polls close in Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, South Carolina, Vermont and Virginia.
7:30PM: Polls close in Ohio and West Virginia.
8PM: Polls close in Alabama, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania and Tennessee.
8:30PM: Polls close in Arkansas and North Carolina.
9PM: Polls close in Arizona, Colorado, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Mexico, New York, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Texas, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
10PM: Polls close in Iowa, Montana, Nevada and Utah.
11PM: Polls close in California, Hawaii, Idaho, North Dakota, Oregon and Washington.
This will hopefully keep it all sane.
FYI on the chat feature: I tooled with it and now I have a link over in the right column that opens it into a separate window so you can chat and surf without having to refresh your browser. I’m pasting it here as well:
