Insanity Partially Abated In Minnesota

[Autumn Sandeen]

Well, the insanity was partially abated in Minnesota. The Minneapolis Star Tribune reports that the bus company takes back stand on ads:

Metro Transit issued a statement Friday expressing regret for its decision to accommodate a Minneapolis bus driver who had asked to drive buses free of gay advertising.

“In attempting to accommodate a driver’s religious beliefs, we inadvertently sent the wrong message about tolerance,” read a statement issued Friday by Metro Transit spokesman Bob Gibbons.

The statement went on to say that the bus company would be “reluctant to make similar accommodations in the future.”

No s*** it was the wrong message about tolerance Bob!

And Minnesota, what about the rest of the insanity?
