Q of the day – school days or the working world
Kate and I were doing our little random chatting over dinner and somehow this question came up — which is easier, in hindsight, being in school (thinking back to HS/college days) or being an adult working stiff — and why?
After all, you’ve got the angst of adolescence/early adulthood, homework, teachers, socially navigating your way in school vs. dealing with “The Man,” the responsibilities of a job, office politics, but you earn a paycheck.
Of course, many, if not most of us had to both work and go to school at some point, but we left that mix off of the table.
I still haven’t answered the question yet; both periods are hard for vastly different reasons. What do you all think?
