CommunityFDL Main Blog

It’s Primary Eve here in CT.  Emotions are running high, especially with today’s Quinnipac poll showing that Ned is down to a five point lead.  It’s all down to the ground game now, GOTV, and, well, praying.

Just came from breakfast with Jane.  I have met Kobe and Lucy and Katie and they’re adorable.  So graceful!  They went leaping and flying like a troupe of acrobats, zooming around the yard and back to leap up and put their big paws on my chest and belly.  Katie even gave me a big, wet doggie-kiss.  Awwwwww.

Some more money just came over the transom from the donations button, which I have taken down now.  I never thought I would say this, but STOP GIVING ME MONEY!  I have enough, really.  It’s all taken care of now, so you needn’t feel obliged to continue to donate.  If you have money burning a hole in your pocket, give it to the Lamont campaign through ActBlue.

We all wish Christy was here with us, but it is also comforting to know that she’s sitting pretty in the FDL control tower, tending the blog fires and keeping us abreast of the view from outside the battle zone.

At any rate, I should prolly get myself over to campaign HQ.  Time’s a-wastin’!!

More soon!

(Photo love to gnuhaus.  Awesome shot — I just love the texture on the face of the clock, just a brilliant angle for the shot.  Also, we still need some Roots Project website programming help.  Please take a peek and see if you can help out.  Thanks! — CHS)
