What’s The Limit, Chris?

You know, we spent a lot of time asking for an explanation by Bill Keller as to what went on with Judy Miller.  We’d still like to know.  Because we’d like the New York Times to be trustworthy.  Reliable.  Better.  Take responsibility for their mistakes.

Melanie Morgan,  along with her fellow eliminationist fantasy twin Ol’ 60 Grit O’Beirne, is a regular on Hardball.  You have to wonder what they would have to do or say to get bounced from that gig.  Says Morgan regarding Keller:

If he were to be tried and convicted of treason, yes, I would have no problem with him being sent to the gas chamber.

Greg Sargent contacted MSNBC to see if Morgan would get a return trip to Hardball after advocating for Keller’s death:

MSNBC spokesperson Schwartz just got back to me. The answer: No comment. So apparently Melanie Morgan won’t pay any kind of price for this. After all, what’s another hateful, vicious diatribe among friends?

What exactly is it going to take before Matthews and Company acknowledge the damage they do to the public discourse by offering these people a megaphone?  It really is well past time they draw the line and banish these harridans to the wingnut ghetto where they belong.
