Nigeria really, really doesn't like the gays

Dear Leader’s buddy Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo practically wants to jail folks for even thinking about homosexuality.
The proposed law, expanded by the senate, would punish foreigners living in the country for attending a gay wedding, and aid workers from other countries where same-sex marriage is legal will have their passports screened for indication of their marital status. It sounds like it’s possible that one could be questioned about orientation as well.
If any Nigerian same-sex couple flies off to another country to legally marry, that can land you in jail as well, and under the thumb of this regime, adoption by gays would be outlawed and it would be criminal offense to be a member of a gay club, social organization or LGBT civil rights group.
And don’t look for any scenes of same-sex relationship depictions on TV, in print or the internet — that looks like it will land you in the clink as well.
I hope Nigeria isn’t looking to boost tourism.
