Cold Case: High School Edition

Welcome to Scarborough Country. Posted by Picasa

I was just watching the video clip of Joe “Banjo Boy” Scarborough deciding that freedom of speech ends when he starts to find it perverse. Quoth the windbag:

“This isn’t about free speech. This is about slandering the commander in chief at a time of war.”

…and Joe has a point. While President George W. Bush is single-handedly winning the war in Iraq he shouldn’t be tied up responding to a subpoena from a bunch of high schoolers in Jersey.

On the other hand, Scarbrough works, what, an hour a day? Maybe he’d like to join some enterprising young teens as they go all Veronica Mars on his ass and reopen the case of Lori Klausitis.

A young female employee of one of Florida’s Congressmen had died unexpectedly in the Congressman’s office. There were no witnesses to her death and the cause of death was not apparent. Klausutis’ boss, Joe Scarborough had recently resigned from Congress prematurely and unexpectedly, amid rumors about his marital fidelity and soon after a divorce. He had also abruptly resigned as publisher of the Independent Florida Sun, claiming that resigning from Congress and as publisher was necessary to spend more time with his sons.

The results of the mandated autopsy, however, were deemed “inconclusive” by Dr. Michael Berkland.

Looks like it’s time for Noonan’s Law:

Is it irresponsible to speculate? It is irresponsible not to.

Have at it kids. And remember: Hugs, not drugs…
