Sunday Talking Head Thread

Via the WaPo, here are today’s scheduled guests for the talking head Sunday shows. What’s your favorite combo? Personally, I’m jonesing for the Joe Lieberman/Pat Roberts non-duel on Face the Nation. I’m sure you are, too. Hoo boy, that’s gonna be one hell of a pitched ideological battle. Oh yeah.

Erm…okay, perhaps not. Who does the scheduling for these shows, anyway?

FOX NEWS SUNDAY (FOX): Sens. John McCain (R-Ariz.) and Richard J. Durbin (D-Ill.) and Gary Williams , University of Maryland men’s basketball coach.

THIS WEEK (ABC): Sen. John F. Kerry (D-Mass.), Reps. Jane Harman (D-Calif.) and Peter Hoekstra (R-Mich.) and actor Gary Sinise .

FACE THE NATION (CBS): Sens. Joseph I. Lieberman (D-Conn.) and Pat Roberts (R-Kan.).

MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.), Democratic strategists Paul Begala and James Carville and Republican strategist Mary Matalin .

LATE EDITION (CNN): Sens. George Allen (R-Va.) and Charles E. Schumer (D-N.Y.), Pakistani Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz , South Korean Foreign Minister Ban Ki Moon , former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations Richard C. Holbrooke and former secretary of state Lawrence S. Eagleburger .

Look for discussion on Iraq, the NSA/FISA mess, and Alito. And it looks like CNN at least will feature something about the attack(s) in Pakistan and some long term foreign policy concerns.
