Not even a blip on the big blog radar, but the Blend is growing
As I mentioned in the comments of the earlier post on what is an A-list blogger (which I am definitely not), this blog averages — on Sitemeter — about 1500-1700 unique visits a day, which is pretty decent, considering I hovered in the 100-300s for many months at the beginning — the blog was launched last July.
However, those numbers are so far below the A-listers, who have thousands more per day (actually tens of thousands more). I think my record number of visits ever in a day was about 6,000, and it was for the Katrina post below, which was picked up by Buzzflash.
This AM I decided to look at my stats for September. At least you all keep coming back and finding friends to come by, lol. Here’s a peek….
House Blend stats for September from Webalyzer:
Pages per Day 15911
Visits per Day 4206
Top posts: (not all posted in Sept)
* Condi, ‘ho boots, and rent-boy Gannon: sex and power in Washington
* Katrina body counting duties given to firm tied to Bush family
* Posse Comitatus: going down in a blaze of glory?
* Make your own Jeffy Lube pro-war rally poster
Top search strings (this is always weird):
the l word
the L word
david lee roth
piss on ford
beavis and butthead
And here is what SiteMeter looks like over the last year, by visit count
I’m sure the exponential growth is due to adding good old “Radical” Russ to the roster, eh?
