The other Crazy Pat calls for the Chimp's impeachment

There are plenty of reasons to drop-kick the current occupant of the White House (oh, Iraq for starters), but Crazy Pat Buchanan wants the Chimperor impeached on his immigration policy. No surprise on this, since Pat has advocated building a 2000-mile wall along the southern border, and loves those Minutemen. Bush’s laid back, business-friendly attitude to the uncontrolled situation on the border has been steaming the Freepers for some time now. Guess Pat’s stack has finally blown. Hasn’t he realized that his Republican business friends are benefiting greatly from exploiting all that cheap labor? (Raw Story):

Pat Buchanan, a leading conservative pundit and former presidential adviser, quietly suggested House Republicans mull impeaching President Bush — though not for the liberals’ cause celebre, Iraq — but rather for what he sees as Bush’s ‘criminal’ failure to stem the tide of illegal immigrants, RAW STORY has discovered.

“We are being invaded,” the reactionary Republican declared in his column Monday, “and the president of the United States is not doing his duty to protect the states against that invasion.”

Some courageous Republican, to get the attention of this White House, should drop into the hopper a bill of impeachment,” he added, “charging Bush with a conscious refusal to uphold his oath and defend the states of the Union against ‘invasion.'”

…”A president like Teddy Roosevelt would have led the Army to the border years ago,” he adds in his column. “And if Fox did not cooperate, T.R. would have gone on to Mexico City. Nor would Ike, who deported all illegal aliens in 1953, have stood still for this being done to the country he had defended in war.”

Oy, I just missed Shakes Sis‘s massive list of Bush criminalities deserving of impeachment. Check it out and add some more in the comments.
