These women do not deserve to be mothers, part 2
I had a post up earlier in the week about the heinous moms that served up their daughters to be raped, now we have some equally morals-free parental behavior by another couple of moms, this time involving kids in cars.
* Woman Leaves Disabled Daughter in Hot Car at Shopping Mall. The woman left her daughter in the hot car Friday afternoon outside the Wolfchase Galleria in East Memphis. The child suffers from cerebral palsy, so she could not get out of the car on her own. She may have been left for more than an hour and a half...The child was rushed to LeBonheur Children’s Hospital. She was not seriously hurt. Police waited for the child’s mother to come out of the mall. She was arrested and faces a misdemeanor charge of child abuse and neglect.
But we can top that story; let’s go to San Fernando, CA where a mom rode around with the kids stowed away…in the trunk.
* Woman Charged For Allegedly Driving With Children In Trunk. Laverne Renee Dunlap is scheduled to be arraigned June 20 in San Fernando Superior Court on the three felony charges, according to the District Attorney’s Office. Dunlap, who had a total of seven children in the Toyota Corolla when she was stopped on the Antelope Valley (14) Freeway on May 20, is free on her own recognizance.
Another motorist had reported seeing the car that day at the side of the San Diego (405) Freeway, near the National Boulevard off-ramp in West Los Angeles. The tipster said children were apparently inside the trunk, which was being closed by a woman, California Highway Patrol Officer Wendy Hahn said last month.
Officers stopped the car about 70 miles away shortly after 8 p.m. and found a 15-year-old boy and a 10-year-old girl in the trunk, according to Hahn. Dunlap said shortly after her arrest that she didn’t have enough room in her car for all of the passengers. She also said she “wasn’t thinking,” and that the children wanted to go into the trunk “because we were hurrying and trying to leave.”
…Four other children were riding in the back seat — ranging in age from 5 to 17 — and a 10-year-old was sitting on the lap of a woman in the front passenger seat, Hahn said. The third child endangerment charge pertains to that child, who was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the District Attorney’s Office.
Let me see. I am still waiting for more reasons that people like these women are somehow more qualified to be parents than say, a sane gay person that would never do such a thing to their children.
