…a pair of devil’s horns drawn on the head of Dubya
Possibly the most honest review of F9/11:
Objection two: that Moore is engaging in blatant electioneering within months of a major election, and that he is nothing less than a propagandist. Well, obviously. And of course it would not be an answer to say that although he is plainly anti-Bush he is not expressly pro-Kerry, whose party comes in for its share of scorn over its meek “acceptance” of the election results of 2000, and its acquiescence in the President’s plan of attack against Iraq. The proper answer would be that in his active politicking, or propagandizing if you insist, he continues to enlarge our idea of the documentary, always for Moore a form that should make space for an editorial section in addition to the vast bulk of news and information. If Errol Morris can be showered in bouquets for helping to free an unjustly convicted cop killer with The Thin Blue Line, how much greater glory can there be for Moore in helping to liberate an entire nation from an unjustly elected President?
