Just in case you have a hot Strip Scrabble game planned for tonight
Reader Susan informs me, in reference to my comment that Sullivan in hibernating this summer, that the proper term is aestivation which I am led to believe is:
1. The act of spending or passing the summer.
2. Zoology. A state of dormancy or torpor during the summer.
3. Botany. The arrangement of flower parts in the bud.
Everybody is hereby instructed to use this word in passing conversation today, and then look astonished when the other person asks what it means.
