Let them not be able to afford cake to eat!

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) said Sunday he opposes extending unemployment benefits for workers, arguing that it would be a “disservice” to jobless individuals.

Yep…apparently not being able to afford to eat or pay rent is just another character-building exercise for the child born wealthy enough to love libertarianism…it’s like he was named after somebody.

But there is no malicious policy that the GOP cannot seem to browbeat into a Democrat.

A senior Democrat said on Sunday he hoped an emerging deal on the US budget would include an extension of unemployment benefits but added that his party would not necessarily walk away from an agreement that left it out.

“I don’t think we’ve reached that point where we’ve said, ‘This is it, take it or leave it,'” Senator Richard Durbin told ABC’s This Week

Merry Christmas to the unemployed with a hearty “fuck you” from both parties.

Third Way's Attack On Elizabeth Warren Prompted By Calls For Expanding Social Security

In 1949, I decided to wrestle professionally, starting my career in Texas. In my debut, I defeated Abe Kashey, with former World Heavyweight boxing Champion Jack Dempsey as the referee. In 1950, I captured the NWA Junior Heavyweight title. In 1953, I won the Chicago version of the NWA United States Championship. I became one of the most well-known stars in wrestling during the golden age of television, thanks to my exposure on the Dumont Network, where I wowed audiences with my technical prowess. I was rumored to be one of the highest paid wrestlers during the 1950s, reportedly earning a hundred thousand dollars a year. My specialty was "the Sleeper Hold" and the founding of modern, secular, Turkey.

Oops, sorry, that's the biography of Verne Gagne with a touch of Mustafa Kemal.

I'm just an average moron who in reality is a practicing civil rights and employment attorney in fly-over country .
