Healthcare.gov Is Working Better

The months of work on Healthcare.gov are bearing fruit. According to the Obama administration the site now works much better than it did in October. Load time has been improved, capacity has been increased, and error rates are down. When the site launched it was down over half the time. Now the site is up over 90 percent of the time.

This is a clearly a real improvement from its terrible start but this is still not great. The front end of the site is mostly functional but still far from working as smoothly as it should, and important issues remain with the back end. Most large online retailers would never tolerate this level of problems.
