Sink To The Bottom With You
ELIMINATIONIST RHETORIC: Rhode Island prof demands NRA chief’s “head on a stick” — Then declares himself a Twitter martyr because people quoted what he said.
On the other hand, it’s also true that if democracy can’t work in Iraq, then we should probably adopt a “more rubble, less trouble” approach to other countries in the region that threaten us.
This begs the question: What is the difference between Loomis’ non-advocacy of death and Glenn Reynolds genocidal wet dream?
The difference, of course, is that Glenn Reynolds can speak freely because he is a tenured professor and Loomis is not, which means that Loomis can’t fight back without severely impacting his future in academia. It is for that reason, out of all of the mean comments posted on the internet about the NRA’s Wayne LaPierre after yet another wholesale gun slaughter in America, that Michelle Malkin picked on Loomis. You see, Michelle Malkin likes the victims of her twitchy rage-gasms to be helpless; that’s why she picked on the family of a couple of kids who were severely injured in car crash. It’s why she published the phone numbers of students at UC Sanata Cruz so that her low-information flying monkeys (at least the ones who had already figured out the sweet mystery of life that is opposable thumbs) could call them with death threats. It’s bullying, once removed.
When you’re a bully, or when you’re socially maladjusted and go through your life sneering at other people because they aren’t like you or because you have a chip on your shoulder because you’ve been second rate at everything you have ever attempted in life like Michelle Malkin, you sic the mob after the weak (such as when Malkin called for interning the ‘other’). Fear makes our predatory instinct take over compelling you to seek out the defenseless because you believe that, by obliterating someone’s humanity or by destroying their lives and the lives of their loved ones, you have pulled the whole world just a bit lower and closer to your own level. This predatory instinct is one many reasons why Adam Lanza chose a room full of six and seven year-olds to slaughter because: what could be easier and more satisfying?
Which obviously leads us to ask one last question: What is the difference between Adam Lanza and Michelle Malkin?
